Travel, visit, eat, run, repeat
→ I started running because of a misunderstanding. And then I carried on. I got roped into my first race, then a second, and, one thing leading to another, one medal after another, I simply carried on, of my own free will.
With the curiosity of a traveller combined with the tenacity of a runner, I started travelling abroad. Drawn by the lovely medals and the local pastries (I can’t say no to a sweet treat), I went running in different countries. From Finland to Latvia, from Germany to England.
That’s when I came up with the idea for a slightly daft challenge: what if I went and ran a half-marathon in almost every European capital and major city?
A great way to discover a language and a culture, to get a feel for the local atmosphere, and to combine fun, buckets of sweat, a love of good food and curiosity.
To illustrate all this, I started thinking about the branding for this project named: Half [Europa]thon.
